How to Redirect Signers to Your Page After Signing
Send signers to your own page after signing: tick Redirect after signing on the Send for Signature page and enter the URL. Individual and Agency Plans only.
Prerequisites
- Plan: Individual Plan ($19 one-time) or Agency Plan ($49 one-time). On the Free Plan the option is greyed out.
- Document: parties and fields in place, ready to send (see How to Send a Document for E-Signature in BreezeDoc)
- A web page: the full address of the page signers should see, starting with https://
What Does Redirect After Signing Do?
Normally a signer sees BreezeDoc's confirmation page after signing. With a redirect URL, the signer's browser opens your page instead, straight after they sign - for example a thank-you page or the next step of your onboarding.
- One URL per document, used for every signer.
- With several parties, each party is sent to the page right after they sign - not only the last one.
- The URL is used exactly as you type it; BreezeDoc does not add the signer's details to it.
How Do I Set a Redirect URL?

- In the document editor, click Send to signers and choose Send via email.
- On the Send for Signature page, tick Redirect after signing ("Signers will be sent to this page after completing the document.").
- In Redirect URL:, enter the full address, for example https://www.example.com/thank-you.
- Click Send for signature.
Set the redirect before you send - there is no separate setting to change it afterwards.
What counts as a valid URL?
- It must be a complete address that starts with https:// or http://.
- It can be up to 191 characters long.
- The page must be public - signers open it in their own browser.
Can a template keep the redirect?
Yes. Set the redirect on the template's Template options page and click Save Template. Documents created from the template with Use template keep the same redirect URL. See Creating and Using Templates.
How Do I Test It?
- Send a test document to your own email address with the redirect set.
- Open the email, sign, and click Confirm and sign the document.
- Check that your page opens and looks right on a phone and a computer.
Troubleshooting
Redirect after signing is greyed out
- Your plan does not include it - it is part of the Individual and Agency Plans. See which plan you are on under Settings → Plan, or upgrade.
"The redirect url format is invalid."
- Enter the complete address including https:// - for example https://www.example.com/thank-you, not www.example.com.
"The redirect url may not be greater than 191 characters."
- Use a shorter address, for example a short page on your own site.
The signer sees an error page after signing
- Their signature is saved - the error comes from the redirect page. Open the URL in a private browser window to check that it loads without a login.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the redirect available on the Free Plan?
No. It is included in the Individual Plan ($19 one-time) and the Agency Plan ($49 one-time).
Can each signer go to a different page?
No. A document has one redirect URL for all signers. For different pages, send separate documents.
Can the URL include the signer's name or the document ID?
No. BreezeDoc uses the URL exactly as you enter it and adds no details.
What do signers see without a redirect?
BreezeDoc's confirmation page, where they can open the document they signed - see How to Sign a Document You Received in BreezeDoc.
